20th AIKIDO GASSHUKU

TAA MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND WORKSHOP (May 22-24)

In 1988, Wolfgang Baumgartner Sensei hosted the senior Iwama-style Aikido instructors in
the US for a seminar at the RideOut School in Tahoe City. This is the site where Saito
Morihiro Shihan had been hosted for his US seminar. This seminar has been expanded over
the years and has now become the TAA (almost annual) Iwama-Style Memorial Day
Weekend Aikido Gasshuku.

In celebration of our 20th Gasshuku, we are planning to include some special amenities:
* Sandan - Godan tests and demos
* Saturday group lunch at the school
* Saturday afternoon demos by 6th and 7th dans
* Saturday evening buffet dinner banquet (sounds grand, doesn’t it?) at Granlibakken Resort. The buffet includes a full dinner (included in your gasshuku registration) but you will have to purchase your own adult beverages. You can purchase a spot at the banquet for your partner/spouse with your seminar registration in advance, or use the below paypal button before May 8.

* Gasshuku t-shirts will be given to all pre-registered seminar participants.
* We are buying more mats for the gym to make a larger training area.

What can you do:
* Spread the word to your friends and training partners
* Let Aviv Sensei know if you can provide some musical entertainment at the banquet
* Bring stories to share, good spirit for training, and a mind to make new friends
